Carrie Staggs, Student, Jefferson High School I learned that even if you're young and in high school you can still make a difference. All you have to do is start out with a couple kids getting together with everyone else and its easier to do then by yourself.
Jordan Hamrick Jeff HS Today I learned a lot of great things about building strong foundations for whatever groups or clubs your apart of, and to really make sure itís a positive and energizing foundation that u can build a strong support structure off of to accomplish any goals u may set. Somebody that wasnít here today definitely missed out on some great, fun activities and some awesome advice and learning from Travis. The activities were great, we got everyone together, we met tons of new people and it was just a great way to get to know the schools that are in the area with you and you can relate and talk about subjects your having problems with as well.
Shelby Welsh, Jeff HS Student I love Mr. Mojo, he was an awesome inspirational speaker, he really motivated us to have a good time while learning and making a difference in our everyday life.
The Mojo Mindset for Teens!
Length: 45, 60 and 90 minute increments
Description: In the “Mojo Mindset” power-packed keynote, Travis’ inspirational message will empower students to believe that even with past mistakes and failures, they can “Fail Forward” and achieve success in life. He discusses the importance of the student understanding their value and not allowing anyone to define their self-worth. Whether it be from other students or neighbors or the little voice inside the head that tells them that they are just not good enough…or smart enough…or pretty enough…or talented enough, he shows them the way to have the confidence to achieve the things that are most important to them. It’s about taking the road to transitional thinking, from negative to positive thoughts and actions. It’s about believing in the old adage of “What the mind can conceive, the body can achieve”. Most importantly, Travis presents the notion that success is not just a choice; it’s their choice.
